Originally from Germany and a world-traveler, Sophie Albert has worked with various organizations in education & humans rights in Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia and the U.S. Being passionate about refugee & immigrant rights, her current projects focus on challenging current narratives and negative perceptions surrounding refugees and immigrants with true, positive storytelling. Her black and white portraits show versatile personalities and the beauty of our common humanity.

In her travel photography of the past years, she documented the power of ordinary moments and the spirit of places everywhere from the streets of Cairo to the mountains of Pakistan.
